Hi there! I am Leslie Bailey, an award winning content creator and project manager based in Chicago, Illinois. I previously worked at beedance, a full service marketing agency, as the Executive Director of Engagement.

‘Les’ Work for You

I have over a decade of experience producing and executing successful digital, physical, and hybrid events. I have worn ALL the hats: project manager, digital producer, hybrid event strategist, content creator, event marketer, subject matter expert, in-person event coordinator, and even moderator / host interviewer.

While I am organized and detail-oriented, in the beginning of my career, I had no idea what I wanted to do – other than be independent. I moved to Chicago from St. Louis on a whim, without a job, and was hired to plan and produce virtual events without any prior knowledge of what I was getting myself into. I was hesitant, but I knew I would figure it out!

This ‘fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants’ attitude isn’t for everyone, but if you do go this route: have the confidence and drive to get out of your comfort zone and learn new things! This is the foundation of my work ethic today – if I don’t understand something, I research it, provide options to my clients, and make a recommendation.

After producing virtual events exclusively for about 8 years, I made the leap to producing in-person events, then creating content as an education manager, and more recently as an engagement director.

Like many colleagues and friends, I do have an ongoing project-being a mom to my girl, G! There may be a chance she may pop up on a meeting with us, but rest assured her strong opinions and statements often lead me to creative solutions and interesting ideas. It’s my goal, more like hope to teach her to forge her own path and build a career that makes her love Mondays.
